Supervision
Clinical - Creative - Relational
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, eco-therapists, and practitioners seeking a reflective, supportive space to explore their work. My supervision style is collaborative and trauma-informed, with close attention to ethical practice, relational dynamics, and practitioner wellbeing.
Trained at the Gestalt Centre in London, my approach is rooted in Gestalt principles, including awareness of somatic experience and what is unfolding in the here-and-now of the supervisory space. Paying attention to what is present between us can reveal unconscious processes such as transference, countertransference, and parallel process.
My work is also guided by Hawkins and Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which offers a systemic way of understanding the therapeutic work through multiple lenses — including the client, the practitioner, the supervisor, their relationship, and the wider organisational and social context.
As a creative practitioner, I bring an element of experiment and creativity into supervision. This can open up new, “whole-brain” perspectives, encourage creative breakthroughs, and support a deeper, more holistic engagement with the therapeutic process.
