Adult Therapy
Counselling provides a space to explore what is causing us emotional unease. Problems with relationships, friends, family, work, and health can lead to symptoms of anxiety, stress, sleeplessness, and depression. We can get stuck in negative ways of thinking that can influence the choices we make.
The experience of sitting with someone with training and experience to understand what you’re going through and sharing elements of our past, present, and sometimes future concerns can support clients to emerge from therapy with an overall sense of wellbeing, increase self-esteem, hopefulness, resilience, and self-awareness; helping bring us back into alignment and bring a balance into our lives.

Walking Therapy
This offers a way to bring nature into the therapeutic process without fully embarking on eco-therapy. Quite simply, we walk and talk, free from the constraints of being indoors. Sitting face to face in a room can sometimes feel daunting; being outside and connecting with the natural environment can help settle the mind and create a greater sense of calm. Walking and gentle movement can support emotional regulation, creating space to reflect and find the words we want to say.
I have found walking therapy to be effective with people of all ages. Older clients who prefer a gentler pace often find the presence of nature reassuring, while some young teenagers experience it as a welcome alternative to sitting in a room, offering a sense of freedom and making it easier to open up and share what feels heavy.
